GENERAL SPECIFICATIONS
Introduction
To ensure the highest quality results, all seam adjustments and critical fitting specifications that impact the design must be clearly stated in the final technical pack.
As textile production evolves through technology and raw materials, our quality standards must evolve accordingly. To maintain clarity and consistency across all projects, we have established standardized quality control procedures and operating guidelines that apply to both our customers and suppliers. These specifications define our tolerances, working methods, and any applicable penalties or bonuses. Please note that these spesifications are reviewed and updated regularly to reflect the ongoing development of NEUE’s operations and standards.
Development
Any adjustments made during development—whether in fittings, materials, or design—must be accurately documented in the final tech pack. Clients are fully responsible for ensuring all changes are reflected in the final documents. Verbal or email-based changes that are not incorporated into the tech pack will be interpreted and executed to the best of our ability but without guarantee.
Garment Fitting & Size Tolerances
At NEUE, we strive
to deliver garments with the best possible fit, while staying within
clearly defined measurement tolerances. These tolerances account for the
natural variation that occurs when working with flexible textile
materials throughout various production stages. What is a Size
Tolerance? A size tolerance refers to the acceptable range of variation
in a garment’s measurements. For example, if your specified chest width
is 50 cm and our tolerance is ±2 cm, the actual garment may measure
anywhere between 48 cm and 52 cm and still fall within acceptable
standards. This allowance exists in all textile manufacturing due to
the behavior of fabrics during cutting, sewing, and finishing.
Example Standard Tolerances (in cm):
- Shoulder length: ±1.5 cm
- Chest width: ±2.0 cm
- Sleeve length: ±2.0 cm
- Body length: ±2.0 cm
- Neck width: ±1.2 cm
- Neck depth: ±1.2 cm
- Cuffs: ±1.2 cm
- Armhole: ±1.5 cm
- Ribs/Collars: ±0.5 cm
After sampling these tolerances will be shared based on your custom request.
Note ! : For all garments that undergo laundry processes or are produced using twisted yarn fabrics, an additional 50% of the standard tolerance must be added to account for potential fabric movement or shrinkage.
Production & Quality Control
If raw materials and accessories are supplied by the customer, NEUE is not responsible for their quality. Our role is limited to reporting any visible defects or anomalies. Should production defects arise due to customer-supplied materials, NEUE bears no responsibility, and such products will be counted and invoiced as standard production. Direct production runs without physical sample approval are considered 100% accepted by the client. NEUE can not accept claims on accessories or garments approved only via images or mockups, unless a physical sample was explicitly requested. Clients accept up to a 5% margin of minor defects within total production due to natural aspect of chain supply limitations. Any units above that threshold can be sent with a discount upon client approval. Complaints must be submitted within 7 days of receiving goods.
Payment Terms
For first-time clients, full payment is required before production begins. For ongoing production (above €15,000), the standard is 50% upfront and 50% prior to shipping. Private label productions require 100% advance payment unless a sample is ordered. All shipping costs must be paid prior to dispatch, including for raw materials or samples. If client needs better financial deal, we can provide different financial tools to lighten payment burden with our finance services with their respective costs.
Shipping
Unless it requested differently, NEUE does not manage logistics in-house. Once collected by a carrier, the shipment becomes the client’s responsibility. Clients arranging their own shipments are solely responsible for any customs delays, losses, or additional costs. NEUE assumes no liability after the pickup. If you need door to door shipping, we are happy to assist client with possible solutions to consider.
Shipping & Fulfillment
All shipments are processed automatically via DHL once an order is placed. Address changes are not possible after submission. You will receive tracking details via email once the shipment is dispatched. Standard and express shipping options are available at checkout. Orders are processed based on current stock availability. If items are out of stock, customers will be contacted for alternatives or backorder options.
Shipping Insurance
Shipments are uninsured unless specifically requested within 2 hours of ordering. Insurance is 5% of the parcel value and is recommended for high-value orders. All goods are shipped under FOB/FCA terms unless client request different terms. Responsibility and risk transfer to the customer once the shipment leaves our facility. NEUE is not liable for customs delays, losses, or damages during transit. All deliveries follow DHL or equivalent career. International orders may be subject to import duties, taxes, or fees. These are not included in shipping costs and are the client’s responsibility.
Failure to respond in a timely manner regarding shipment or delivery instructions may result in automatic processing. Clients may also choose to schedule their own pick-up. Shipping upgrades can be requested for faster delivery. Request a shipping upgrade within 2 hours of placing the order. We’ll send a payment link for the cost difference. Any issues arising during transit must be resolved directly with with career. We will support the process and refund any compensation provided by the carrier once received.
Returns, Exchanges & Claims
Private Label Orders
Fitting Samples : Not eligible for returns or refunds.
Defective Items : We accept returns of blank private label items with manufacturer defects (holes, rips, stains) reported within 7 days of delivery. Items must be unworn, unwashed, unaltered, and returned in original condition.
Inspection : Returned items will be assessed. If found to be in acceptable condition, they will be replaced. Shipping fees apply.
Exchanges : Size exchanges are allowed based on availability. Return shipping and reshipping costs are the client’s responsibility. Bulk Orders Without Sample Approval : Final sales—no returns or claims accepted.
Missing Items : Must be reported within 2 days of delivery. NEUE will conduct an internal investigation using package weight and warehouse reports.
Unauthorized Returns : Any products returned without a formal claim process will be discarded.
Accessories : Outsourced items (e.g., labels, buttons, bags) sourced by the client are not NEUE’s responsibility. If NEUE sources these upon request, we are not liable for defects, delays, or mismatches unless they were sampled and approved.
Tolerance Clause: Garments within our size tolerance chart are not considered defective.
Customized Orders Returns
Not accepted for customized items, including both samples and bulk orders.
Defective Items : Items with manufacturing defects must be reported within 7 days of delivery, supported by clear photo/video evidence. Upon approval, a replacement or refund will be issued. Return shipping is the client’s responsibility.
No Exchanges : We do not accept exchange requests for size, color, or other custom specifications.
Missing Items : Must be reported within 2 days of receipt. Internal investigation will follow.
Accessories : NEUE is not responsible for outsourced accessories unless sampled and approved beforehand.
Third-Party Shipping : If items are shipped to a third-party (e.g., printing, dyeing, embroidery services), the client is responsible for inspecting the goods upon arrival and reporting any issues within 3 days.
Unauthorized Returns : Items returned without an authorized claim will be discarded.
Defective Definition : Manufacturing-related issues such as holes, fabric tears, or stains from production qualify as defects.
Claim Resolution : Valid claims are eligible for replacement, credit, or refund. All returned items must meet our return condition requirements.
Quality Assurance
All products undergo rigorous quality control before shipping. However, customers are advised to inspect items upon delivery and report any issues within 7 days.
Samples
Sample production is charged at 2x the quoted unit cost. For private label orders, sample development is not included. If a sample is requested, the cost is 5x the unit price, based on a 200-piece production assumption. Unconfirmed samples will also incur charges for development time.
Lead Times
Sample production 4–6 weeks
Bulk production 8–10 weeks
Timelines begin only once all materials, labels, trims, and payments are received. Any model changes during production require written confirmation and will reset the lead time.
Legal Jurisdiction
All legal matters between clients and NEUE fall under the jurisdiction of the District Court of Istanbul, Türkiye.
